About Khaya Marlow

Khaya Marlow is a sister run brand shaped by a life around the ocean. We were born in Bermuda and raised in South Africa. We spent our early years in salt water and kept choosing coastal places as adults.

Clair brings brand and marketing experience. She surfs. Her family surfs. Their days revolve around tides, boards, and simple living near the beach. She understands how people use products in real coastal routines.

Amy comes from tech and product. Years spent away from the ocean showed how much daily life changes when you are far from the water. She now lives in Bali and focuses on design, product development, and clean user experiences.

We built Khaya Marlow to offer products that fit the way we live. Slow mornings. Beach afternoons. Weekends spent outside. We keep our runs small and our designs intentional. We work with women led makers. We choose materials that feel good to carry and hold up through real use.

Our story is simple. Two sisters. A lifetime by the ocean. A shared goal to create products that support coastal living in a practical way.

We acknowledge the Turrbal and Yuggera Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work in Meanjin (Brisbane), and the Bundjalung Nation, including the Minjungbal people of the Tweed region and other Bundjalung peoples across the Northern Rivers, as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work in northern New South Wales. We recognise their enduring connection to land, waters, and community, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
